2022 Smoky Mountain Fire Update

On March 30th, 2022, devastating wildfires affected Sevier County. The Wears Valley wildfire lasted until April 7th and burned a total of 2,498 acres and destroyed 219 structures. Thankfully, there were no reported deaths and only minor injuries in relation to the fires. All areas that were under the evacuation order are now open again
